As you know, Oregon’s state forests are a vital resource for Oregonians — supporting local economies, creating wildlife habitat, ensuring access to recreation and providing renewable timber for our communities.

House Bill 3103 [7] is a good bill that will ensure sustainable timber harvests on state forests. It establishes clear, data-backed harvest levels and improves public transparency and predictability around timber harvests on state forestland.
