SB 1154: Adding More Complexity to Water Issues

OFB opposes SB 1154, raising concerns about its sweeping scope, significant complexity, and rushed policy process. The bill expanded to 83 pages with the introduction of the -1 amendment, spanning 44 sections, amending over a dozen statutes, and empowering six different state agencies with overlapping authorities. Such an expansive and consequential proposal requires more time for thorough analysis and deliberation.
