Lane County Watershed Bill of Rights Initiative Update

This week, the Lane county clerk’s office announced that the initiative petition that would give rights to the “watershed” and allow private citizens to sue businesses and local government entities for violating those rights has qualified for the May 2026 ballot. The initiative has been assigned measure number 20-373. Stay tuned for more information on this misguided measure, and ways you can get involved to help defeat it.
