Oregon Wheat Growers League turns 100 in 2026

Oregon Wheat Growers League to Celebrate 100 Years in 2026

By Oregon Wheat Growers League,

PENDLETON, Ore.,— In September, Oregon wheat growers gathered at the State Capitol for the ceremonial embossment of House Concurrent Resolution 12 (HCR 12). The 83rd Oregon Legislative Assembly unanimously approved HCR 12 earlier this year, designating February 11, 2026, as Oregon Wheat Day. The embossed seal was the final step in authenticating the resolution, which commemorates 100 years of the Oregon Wheat Growers League.

“Our state’s wheat farmers have long worked together to feed our communities, drive our economy, and share Oregon-grown products with the world,” said Tobias Read, Oregon Secretary of State. “I was honored to join the Oregon Wheat Growers League in embossing HCR 12—a resolution that celebrates their legacy and contributions by officially designating February 11th as Oregon Wheat Day.”
