Angi Bailey Reelected as Oregon Farm Bureau Federation President
By Oregon farm Bureau Federation,

Salem, Ore The Oregon Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) held its annual convention in Portland this year where delegates, representing every Oregon county, reelected President Angi Bailey on Thursday afternoon. This will be her third term leading Oregon’s largest agriculture organization.
“I’m reminded of the phrase ‘roots and wings,’” Bailey said near the beginning of her President’s Address. “How we have remained true to our grassroots principles while simultaneously spreading our wings to embrace new opportunities. This is the essence of who we are – an organization deeply rooted in tradition and values, yet constantly evolving to meet the changing needs of Oregon’s diverse agricultural community.”
Bailey will serve a two-year term, as will the newly elected 2nd Vice President Jon Iverson of Clackamas County Farm Bureau.
New state board members include Traci Sauls of Jefferson County, Matt Gallant of Multnomah County and Rhett Nelson of Josephine County.
The Oregon Farm Bureau Federation is Oregon’s most inclusive agriculture organization. Over 6,400 Farm Bureau member families raise all of Oregon’s 250+ agricultural commodities, from hops to hazelnuts, cattle to caneberries. All farm and ranch sizes — from 10 acres to 10,000 acres — and all farming methods — organic, conventional, biotech, and no-tech — are welcome and invited to join.
