A Southern Oregon farmer opened a 3,000-square-foot grocery store and deli counter in Phoenix called La Fuente Market & Butchery [6] to give people a chance to buy fresh food knowing full well how their free-range meat and fresh produce were grown. The name La Fuente means the source in Spanish, so its $10 homemade meals at the deli counter offer nutrient-rich foods without fillers or genetically modified ingredients, said owner Krista Vegter Trujullo, who teaches cooking workshops in her kitchen. It includes nose-to-tail butchery cuts.
