As the May primary approaches, OFS is doing our part to ensure that Lane County voters reject Measure 20-373, the Lane County Watershed Bill of Rights. Clean water and a healthy environment are shared goals, but this measure does not provide that. Instead, it would cost Lane County taxpayers millions of dollars by opening the door to endless, frivolous lawsuits that could be filed against any business or local government entity.
