Farm Bureau scholarship winners announced

Heath Webb awarded Oregon Farm Bureau Associate Member Scholarship, funded by COUNTRY Financial for 2010-11 Academic Year

The Oregon Agricultural Education Foundation (OAEF) is pleased to announce that Heath Webb of Cottage Grove was awarded the Oregon Farm Bureau Associate Member Scholarship, funded by COUNTRY Financial. This scholarship program is open any Oregon high school graduate/resident with an associate membership (or a dependent child of an associate member) in Oregon Farm Bureau.

This scholarship is intended for a non-voting, non-farm family within an associate membership in OFB. Student must be preparing to continue his/her education through a junior college, or a four-year college or a university with intent to seek a bachelor’s degree.

The goal of the Oregon Farm Bureau Associate Member Scholarship, funded by COUNTRY Financial, is to “Help future community and business leaders obtain a baccalaureate education with the aim of strengthening understanding, cooperation, and mutual respect among rural, urban, and suburban Oregonians.”

14 Students Awarded Oregon Farm Bureau Memorial Scholarships for 2010-11 Academic Year.

The Oregon Agricultural Education Foundation (OAEF) is pleased to announce the following fourteen (14) recipients of the Oregon Farm Bureau Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship program is open to any Oregon high school graduate preparing for an agriculture or forestry-related career. Students attending institutions outside of Oregon are also eligible. The goal of the OFB Memorial Scholarship is to “Support students that will have a positive impact on production agriculture and other agricultural-related fields.”
